 METHODOLOGY FOR PREPARING TO RECEIVE THE GOD OF WEALTH

To receive the God of Wealth, it is normally by the Male or Head of the household, who has a very earnestly sincere in his faith and his efficacious efforts?

1.    Place the portrait of the CAI Shen Yea in the suitable or Wealth Position.

2.    Must be earnest and sincere before prayers commences.

3.    Not restless or fidgety in feeling or in the heart

4.    Receive the God at the Balcony, Front Door, Back door – Ensure that there is no obstructions in front of the Table or altar

5.    Place the altar table within 1 foot, 2 feet, 3 feet or 8 feet or 9 feet of the main entrance of the door.

6.    Clean all utensils for prayers with clean water. Person making the prayers must also have taken a bath and dressed in clean set of clothing.

7.    Must use Long Joss sticks for the occasion. Joss sticks to burn till the end.

8.    Offer incense paper to God of Wealth in front of the front or main door, with sincerity

9.    Write down the following:

a.    Name

b.    Age

c.    Address:

d.    Your Wish for…

10.  Dispose of the last year’s portrait of the God of Wealth together with incense paper.

RECEIVING THE GOD OF WEALTH.

1.    One clean altar table

2.    The altar must face the open entrance of the front door or balcony. Ensure that all windows facing in the same direction as the door are open

3.    Place one Traditional Prayer table cloth size 4 ft x 4 ft or obtain one that covers the size of the table used.

4.    Place one Red coloured incense burner for the joss sticks and drape it in Red paper or cloth and write it with name CAI Shen Lu, on the side of the container.

5.    Place 2 red candles inside this container burner.

6.    Other item required for the prayers are as follows:-

a.    5 cups of Chinese rice wine

b.    5 cups of Chinese tea

c.    5 types of fruits – banana, oranges, red apples, pears, pineapples, uncut.

d.    6 dishes of vegetables.

e.    One set of CAI SHEN ZHI –can be purchase this at the shop selling paraphernalia for prayers.

7.    Continue the prayer, and then about midway or towards 3/ 4 of joss stick length, proceed to burn the joss papers.

8.    Prayers to continue until, all the joss sticks are burnt out, then.
